Given a sudden and significant health change which could not be forecast Dr Mayat faced a "catch-up" situation and quickly moved to send me to an appropriate consultant to control and manage the situation. On other matters when consulted I found a good level of interest and concern. Additionally the idea of Dr Mayat's "Self help guide" developed over time has proved helpful and time saving having not to trawl the internet for information and/or guidance.
Some tend to be dismissive of the guide - I found it helpful.
Dr Mayat has been my doctor since his arrival at the practice.

After 6 months of a continuous cough, I was fed up of various doctors prescribing the wrong medication for my condition. However, Dr Ahmed Mayet was fantastic and listened to exactly what I was explaining.
6 months onwards and the cough has gone and I have no symptoms returned. Dr Ahmed Mayet knew exactly the right medication to prescribe and I was very happy.
Speak as I find, I would highly recommend him!! Brilliant.

Dr Mayet is like doctors used to be, before everything started to deteriorate in the NHS. He is friendly, kind, thoughtful and has the gift of making you feel that you are his only patient and that he has all the time in the world for you! He has gone out of his way to help me, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. We at Fern House are so lucky.

Dr Mayet is our families registered GP and has been for ten years. I have found Dr Mayet to be an excellent doctor and also a friend often talking about his young family as we have that in common. He always has time to listen even sometimes when I was a first time mum being slightly neurotic!! My only issue is sometimes you can't always get an appointment with him, due to the practice being so busy. Totally recommend.

Dr Mayet has cared for me for several years. I suffer from Eczema, allergies and asthma and as a teenager I find Dr Mayet approachable and he is always helpful each time I visit the surgery. He is always thorough.
